    VRCities' general aim is to promote online communities through active and positive member citizen participation.  We expect all VRCities members to contribute to their communities to benefit one and all.

    VRCities provides global web hosting to many clients, and we have a responsibility to provide each and every client with the best possible service.  The following guidelines have been established to ensure that this intent is met. Any of our policicies or rules are subject to change without notice.

Content:

    All services provided by VRCities may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited.  This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secrets and other statutes.  VRCities is not responsible for any claims resulting from the use of our service.

Note: Pornography and sex-related merchandising are prohibited on any VRCities site.  This includes sites that may imply sexual content, or link to adult content elsewhere.  This is also true for sites that promote any illegal activity or content that may be damaging to VRCities servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are prohibited. This also includes, but is not limited to pirated software, hacker programs/archives, and Warez sites.  VRCities will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of these provisions.

User Ads:

    As part of VRCities' "ad-free web surfing" campaign, community page users are prohibited from placing commercial advertising on their sites, defined to include any banner ads or material relating to the sale of any product or service.  Pointers and links to commercial pages are allowed. VRCities will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of these provisions.

    Commerce site users have the distinct right to place ads on their page, from advertisers they choose and receive payment from. VRCities will not remove these ads, even if they compete with our current advertisers.  VRCities maintains the right to place ads on any of it's free commerce sites at any time.  VRCities ads will be as unobtrusive as possible.  Pop-up ads will not be used and are prohibited on all VRCities pages.

    Spamming, the sending of unsolicited email or posts, from ANY server is STRICTLY prohibited. VRCities, Inc. will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Chat Rooms and IRC

    We do not allow our clients to install their own chat rooms. This is inefficient and hinders system resources.  Furthermore, we currently DO NOT allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.

Background running programs:

    VRCities does NOT allow programs to run continually in the background.

Server abuse:

    Any attempts to undermine or cause harm to any VRCities server or customer of VRCities' Host accounts is strictly prohibited.  Any accounts found to have violated these terms will be removed.  Any account using more than 1 GB of traffic per month, or using more than 10% of system resources can be removed.

DISCLAIMER

    VRCities cannot be held liable for system downtime, crashes, or data loss. We cannot be held liable for any predicted estimate of profits which a client would have gained if their site was functioning. Certain services provided by VRCities are resold. Thus, certain equipment, routing, software, and programming used by VRCities are not directly owned or written by VRCities. Moreover, VRCities holds no responsibility for the use of our Users and our Host's clients' accounts. If any terms or conditions fail to be followed, the account in question will be automatically deactivated. We reserve the right to remove any account without advanced notice for any reason VRCities sees fit.
